Guzarish
the sau gm zindagi movie….
After “khamoshi” and “Black” there
goes one more movie in this set of movies from "Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Known
as SLB)". The movie starts with the curtain raiser by "Sofia
D’Souza (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan)".
Dressed in a long gown designed by "Sabyasachi
Mukherjee" costume designer, whose work was amazing and matched
the look of the movie which is more Portuguese with sets
created by the art director "Sumit Basu". Who used only three
locations for creating the Portuguese touch to his frames. The 3
locations "Mehaboob Studio, Mumbai". "Panjim, Goa"
and "Yash Raj Studio. Mumbai".
The next frame shows "Ethan Mascarenhas (Hrithik
Roshan)" a famous Magician lying on bed injured by
His former best friend who was also a magician betrays him
by ruining one of his dangerous magic tricks,
Followed by the set of fast scenes which shows his daily
routine works attended by his nurse (because Ethan never
called Sophia as sister because she is beautiful). These are the scenes
which never showed how she (Sophia) lifted Ethan as she will be alone in that
frames no one to assist her there, later you will find how "Omar
Siddique (Aditya Roy Kapoor)" who comes to learn
magic from Ethan and "Father Samuel (Sanjay Lafonte)" a
father in local church, Both struggle to shift him from his Hi-Tech 21st century
wheel chair to an vintage car for taking Ethan to court room along with his
lawyer "Devyani Dutta (Shernaz Patel)".
Wait now let me stop here and not spoil the
movie as I’m not a narrator of scripts and recommend you all to watch the
movie (Only in theatres) to know the reason why a "quadriplegic" Ethan
going to court room and how the movie is further carried out.
Sudeep Chatterjee: To tell you about the
movie each frame of the movie looks more like a painting with perfect
combination of costume and background. There are certain scenes which make you
fall in love again with Goa, really a masterpiece of work from Sudeep
Chatterjee.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Ash was as usual
beauty to watch, but she is now more covered with cloths (remember ash
from Dhoom 2).
Hrithik Roshan: I don’t feel that Roshan
was used fully here as he didn’t have much work to do rather sit at a single
place and just recite his dialogues in his casual Style (better luck
next time).
Sanjay Leela Bhansali: This man is a
trend setter he again proved that a movie can be made with no music director
and no long songs (Do you remember Black without songs). Still
keeps the melody of emotions to create magic. As a director SLB again repeated
very errors in his frames, one of which I have mentioned above. But hats off to
him for trying a subject of "Euthanasia (e-thu-neshia)" in an
age of comedy, Homosexual, action and media-oriented movies.
“This movie is a must watch for the art lovers and
who reads Shakespeare novels. The beauty of this movie is its canvas which
shows a completely different life full of emotions and hunger of a person who
wants to die but Indian constitution doesn’t allow me to commit euthanasia”.
